Well, the first cool pictures from the set of G.I.Joe has finally been release. I was never really a big fan of "The Joe" growing up, but Snake Eyes was always one of my favorite characters.
Ray Park dons the awsomely tight tights in the live action version of G.I.Joe. You can remember Park in such distinct roles such as Toad from X-Men, and Darth Maul from Episode I.
Park is also slated to play the Immortal Iron Fist later on this year.

Incredibly the Hulk trailer finally hits
After 14 long years of waiting, the trailer for MARVEL's new Incredible Hulk has finally been released. And seeing as it is slated to be released in June, I would say it is about time they did!
And just in case you can't belive your eyes: Yes, this does look fairly shitty.
Now, I will admit, I did like the last Hulk movie. Sorry if I feel that an actual story is needed to make a comic book character credible. So far, The Incredible Hulk looks to be void of that critcal film element.

Deke Appreciation Post
Rabid and non-avid NBA fans alike have, at some defining moment in their lives, witnessed the intimidating finger wag of Dikembe Mutombo which follows most merciless blocks he lays on opponents. Many are shocked and surprised to hear that the 42-year old Zairian center is still doing his thing. Why all this talk of Mt. Mutombo all of a sudden? Well, the Houston Rockets are in the midst of a historical 19-game winning streak which could be pushed to 20 tonight when they play the Atlanta Hawks- and Deke is a big part of their recent success.

Marine Throws Puppy
I just heard about this, and then finally saw it. Pretty awful stuff.
I don't know if this counts as sports.

New Shots of Watchmen characters
I have to admit, these pictures look pretty sweet.
Watchmen is either going to be a masterpiece of superhero cinema or a big overbudget piece of shit.
It's too soon to tell.

Page replacement found, Soon to visit Hell!
EmpireOnline.com has confirmed that Alison Lohman has replaced Ellen Page in Sam Raimi's next film, Drag Me To Hell.
"Page dropped out of the movie, which tells of a young woman who is unwittingly hit with a supernatural curse, citing scheduling differences. With Lohman in the role, the film can now get started shooting on March 31, only two weeks later than originally planned"
Lohman is the cute girl from the Nic Cage movie Matchstick Men, and pretty much nothing else that anyone cares about. Flicka? Did anyone actually watch that?

Bands you should know...
Ah yes. Before anyone else complains about too much exposure of new bands, I'm here to tell you about some music you should already be listening to.
Tiny Masters of Today:
http://www.myspace.com/tinymasters
Pretty much the coolest 10 and 12 year old brother sister duo alive today. These Brooklyn rocksters have collaborated with the likes of Karen O, Kimya Dawson, CSS and so many others. They write and sing their own kick ass rock songs and they write about stuff they know, like homework and parents. Preteen angst and lo-fi tunes are definitely on the plate here. check out their myspace, I recommend Trendsetter with Kimya Dawson.
Music video for Radio Riot:

Yo Majesty:

XLRBR interview with Beth Ditto from The Gossip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Os5cYAy5EtI
More music to come, for sure.
New Iron Man Poster!
The awsome new Ironman poster comes directly from San Francisco's Wondercon. Who knows, maybe the movie won't be as shitty as it looks.

Superman Dunk
Dwight Howard donned a Superman cape for one of his dunks at the 2008 NBA All-Star Slam Dunk contest held in New Orleans. He literally appeared to fly as he took off of both feet from just inside the free throw line and then proceeded to throw it through- the crowd lost it. Craziness; watch it here.

Firs look at "X-men Origins: Wolverine"
From USA Today: The film will trace Wolverine's past as he discovers the world of mutants and, ultimately, the ominous Weapon X program, which turns people into living weapons.
Jackman is tight-lipped on plot details, though he says the film will hardly be a one-mutant story.
Wolverine's nemesis Sabretooth "is going to play a big part in it. And there will be a good bit of cameos" of new and familiar mutants, he says. "But you can't give too much away, because fans are pretty hard-core. Their expectations go up a level every time you come out with a new film."
Romero's 5th "Of the Dead" Installment.
From CNN.com: Romero, said he made his fifth zombie film in 20 days with a $2 million budget. The result is a raw, ragged tale more reminiscent his landmark first movie, 1968's "Night of the Living Dead," than the explosion- and star-filled 2005 box office flop, "Land of the Dead."
Gone Baby Gone
A pretty good directorial debut from Ben Affleck. "Gone Baby Gone" leaves viewers with only one real question:

Comic cover of the week!
This is one of the coolest covers I've seen in a long time. A throw-back to the old Tales from the Crypt comics of years ago.
First Post: Bukkake
I've heard things, and I sort of know what that is. And I'm pretty sure I'm scared by it. Anyhow, Japan held its first sex expo (ever?) and it was, predictably, really crazy. Highlights include automatic masturbation machine and a phallic keychain called "young Mr. Penis." All the details here.
