New G.I.Joe Pic, SNAKE EYES!!!!

Well, the first cool pictures from the set of G.I.Joe has finally been release. I was never really a big fan of "The Joe" growing up, but Snake Eyes was always one of my favorite characters.

Ray Park dons the awsomely tight tights in the live action version of G.I.Joe. You can remember Park in such distinct roles such as Toad from X-Men, and Darth Maul from Episode I.

Park is also slated to play the Immortal Iron Fist later on this year.

Incredibly the Hulk trailer finally hits

After 14 long years of waiting, the trailer for MARVEL's new Incredible Hulk has finally been released. And seeing as it is slated to be released in June, I would say it is about time they did!




And just in case you can't belive your eyes: Yes, this does look fairly shitty.

Now, I will admit, I did like the last Hulk movie. Sorry if I feel that an actual story is needed to make a comic book character credible. So far, The Incredible Hulk looks to be void of that critcal film element.

Deke Appreciation Post

Rabid and non-avid NBA fans alike have, at some defining moment in their lives, witnessed the intimidating finger wag of Dikembe Mutombo which follows most merciless blocks he lays on opponents. Many are shocked and surprised to hear that the 42-year old Zairian center is still doing his thing. Why all this talk of Mt. Mutombo all of a sudden? Well, the Houston Rockets are in the midst of a historical 19-game winning streak which could be pushed to 20 tonight when they play the Atlanta Hawks- and Deke is a big part of their recent success. 

So now I will show some love to Deke who has stepped up after Yao Ming went down for the season with a stress fracture in his left foot. Deke's ever dominant defensive presence in the paint has helped carry the Rockets through this streak. 

Deke is a great man known for many great things: his scholastic aspirations pre-basketball (a star pupil interested in both medicine and politics), his philanthropic endeavors (built a hospital in Zaire), his diplomatic presence (was invited to George W's State of the Union two years back), but most notably known for his voice and how pretty much everything he says sounds funny. Legendary story: Deke goes out to a Georgetown bar (where he played his college ball), walks in and the place gets kind of quiet because, man, its Dikembe. So to break the silence he says to the room, "who wants to sex Mutombo?" And story goes, throughout the night, many women approached, but Deke had his standards and went on to shoo away many meaty types.

Anyhow, so now, a YouTube clip tribute to the man. 1) an old NBATV clip of Deke showing us that NBA players can do a variety of things regular people do. My favorite part- when he visits his favorite restaurant, "Pasta! Pasta!... it was named after pasta." 2) His Rockets' teammates doing their best impressions and 3) Just for fun, Deke at the State of the Union. Enjoy, and respect the Mt. Mutombo. I have to admit, these pictures look pretty sweet.

Watchmen is either going to be a masterpiece of superhero cinema or a big overbudget piece of shit.

Page replacement found, Soon to visit Hell!

EmpireOnline.com has confirmed that Alison Lohman has replaced Ellen Page in Sam Raimi's next film, Drag Me To Hell.

"Page dropped out of the movie, which tells of a young woman who is unwittingly hit with a supernatural curse, citing scheduling differences. With Lohman in the role, the film can now get started shooting on March 31, only two weeks later than originally planned"

Lohman is the cute girl from the Nic Cage movie Matchstick Men, and pretty much nothing else that anyone cares about. Flicka? Did anyone actually watch that?

They write and sing their own kick ass rock songs and they write about stuff they know, like homework and parents. Two big mean lesbians. rapping. the fucking coolest most catchy and perverted rhymes ever uttered by women. With a song called Kryptonite Pussy, how could you not be intrigued. These two girls put on one of the best hip hop shows I've ever seen. Probably because Jwl. B (superman) HAS to take her shirt off by the end of the show. Recommended track is Club Action.
